About the Stepping Up Blues Series

Welcome back to another session of our "Stepping Up Blues Series" –  an engaging series of mini workshops in 2024 designed to take your blues dancing to new heights!

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting, this event promises an enriching experience focused on technique, style, musicality, and partner connection.
 

June Session

Led by Jacqui and Ana, this session will emphasize on essential elements that enrich your dance expression. You'll learn to gracefully and confidently end your dances, master breaks, and connect deeply with the music's rhythm. Don't miss this chance to refine your technique and express yourself on the dance floor!

After the classes, we invite you to stay for a 30-minute practice session. This is an opportunity to reinforce what you've learned, ask questions, and practice with different partners. Jacqui & Ana will be on hand, providing personalised feedback and guidance to ensure that you leave the session with increased confidence and a solid understanding of all the concepts and techniques covered in the classes.

* Note: You must have attended at least 4 drop-in classes to attend this workshop.

• 3:00pm to 5:30pm - Classes (with 15min break)
• 5:30pm to 6:00pm - Practice Session
