About the Stepping Up Blues Series

Welcome back to another session of our "Stepping Up Blues Series" –  an engaging series of mini workshops in 2024 designed to take your blues dancing to new heights!

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting, this event promises an enriching experience focused on technique, style, musicality, and partner connection.
 

May Session

Led by Marta & Tiarnán, you'll learn techniques to isolate different parts of your body, enhancing your fluidity and expression on the dance floor. From subtle shifts to powerful accents, discover how to move with soulful precision while expressing your unique style.

After the classes, we invite you to stay for a 30-minute practice session. This is an opportunity to reinforce what you've learned, ask questions, and practice with different partners. Marta & Tiarnán will be on hand, providing personalised feedback and guidance to ensure that you leave the session with increased confidence and a solid understanding of all the concepts and techniques covered in the classes.

* Note: You must have attended at least 4 drop-in classes to attend this workshop.

• 5:30pm to 6:00pm - Practice Session
